INCIDENT: PC 664 / 459 - Attempted Burglary
PC 1203.2 - Violation of Probation
LOCATION: 25300 Block of 5th St, Highland
SUSPECT(S): Marcia Luna, 39-year-old, resident of San Bernardino
Victor Castro, 28-year-old, resident of San Bernardino
SUMMARY:
On September 13, 2019, at 2:05 a.m., deputies from the Highland Sheriff’s Station responded to the 25300 Block of 5th St, Highland reference two subjects attempting to break into storage / shipping containers. Witnesses reported the two suspects fled before deputies arrived. Deputies discovered one of the storage containers had damage from when the suspects attempted to force it open. Deputies conducted an area check and located Luna and Castro a short distance away. Luna and Castro were positively identified, and physical evidence was found linking them to the scene.
Castrol was currently on felony probation out of San Bernardino County for Possession of Narcotics for Sale. Luna and Castro were booked into Central Detention Center on charges of Attempted Burglary and Castro was also booked for Violation of Probation.
