Sheriff's Office and Bluffton Police Department personnel are currently searching for Carlos Rosa-Mendez in the area of Tower Rd which is between Buck Island Rd and Simmonsville Rd.  Motorists and Residents can expect an increased presence in that area while the search is conducted. Bluffton Police Department currently have Esteban Rosa-Mendez in custody. 

Carlos Rosa-Mendez was last seen wearing blue jeans, a red shirt -which he may have removed- and black sneakers. Carlos Rosa-Mendez is about 19 years old and described as between 5' 6" to  5' 7" in height, about 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. 

If you see Carlos Rosa-Mendez, we urge you to call 9-1-1.
