Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose announces that No Parking will be available on Friday, September 13th and Wednesday, September 18th in the below designated areas due to film production projects.

No Parking will be available at the below locations during the following times:

4 p.m. Friday, September 13 to 8 a.m. Saturday, September 14
• No parking from 358 Parker Street to 399 Parker Street

7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, September 13
• No parking at South Orange Avenue from Alexander Street to Brookdale Avenue

4 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday, September 18, 2019
• No parking at Washington Street from Central Ave to Broad Street
• No parking at Halsey Street from Washington Place to Bleeker Street

Drivers are advised to expect delays. Director Ambrose thanks you in advance for your patience and cooperation during these events. He also urges anyone with information regarding any criminal or suspicious information to call the Department's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
