UPDATE 1:50 p.m. The Town of Fairview is still in the process of repairing a major water line break on Highway 5.  The Town’s primary pump station and water tower will remain off line until the line is repaired, which could be into the evening.   While water pressures have been restored at this point, the water emergency is still in effect and the town is still requesting that residents and businesses continue cessation of all outside watering until the break has been repaired.  The town’s water system is operating only off of the small water storage tank and pump station on the east side of town until the break is repaired and high volumes of water use could seriously affect water pressures and supplies.
