Seized: Cocaine, marijuana, pills and candy bars and drinks containing THC
Deputy Robert Watson of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged 39-year-old Randall Eugene Greenlee, address listed as Chinquapin Trail in Old Fort, and 32-year-old Crystal Marie Real, address listed as Cove Road in Union Mills, with two counts of possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance and one count each of possession of cocaine, possession of synthetic cannabinoid, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
Watson also charged 36-year-old Vanessa Real Johnson, address listed as Cove Road in Union Mills, with possession of marijuana, resisting a public officer and failure to appear.
Shortly after 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20, Watson stopped a Chrysler New Yorker in Old Fort for having a fictitious plate. Real was driving, and the other two were passengers.
Johnson gave the deputy a fictitious name, and, upon determining her true identity, found that she was wanted in McDowell, Davis and Guilford counties for failure to appear.
A subsequent search of the car by Watson and Old Fort police officers revealed 1.10 grams of marijuana, 1 gram of cocaine, 6 ½ various pills, three candy bars containing THC and two drinks containing THC.
