DETAILS:  Sgt. Lai was detailed to Ulta Beauty for a shoplifting that had occurred the day before on 8/08/19. Investigation determined that Kanika Williams selected nine (9) Dermalogica brand skin care products valued at $545.00 from the shelf, and then went directly to a register to try and exchange those very same items for cash or credit. When the return was denied, she walked out of the store with those items. Det. N. Barber took over the investigation, and with the assistance of Marlboro Police, was able identity Williams from an arrest for a shoplifting arrest at Ulta Beauty in that jurisdiction. Williams was charged with shoplifting and has a date pending at the Mercer County Superior Court.

Montgomery was detailed to a residence on Cranbury Rd. where the following was reported: Between August 13th and August 17th, the victim stated that his two vehicles that were parked and unlocked in the driveway of his home, had been entered and property including $1,500.00 in cash and gift cards valued at $150.00 were stolen from inside the vehicles.

DETAILS:  Ptl. Pollini investigated a black Toyota sedan that was in the Community Park after dark. During the investigation, Kenneth Pepper was found to be in possession under 50 grams of marijuana, rolled marijuana cigarettes, a vile containing THC oil, and various drug paraphernalia including a vape pen and two glass pipes with marijuana residue. Pepper was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date at West Windsor Municipal Court.

Accused: Jason M. Nemeth, White male, 33 years old

DETAILS:  Ptl. Van Ness was detailed to Wegmans for a shoplifting that had just occurred. Investigation determined that Jason Nemeth had selected several tenderloins and porterhouse meats valued at $348.00, which he concealed into a backpack that he was carrying. When Asset Protection attempted to detain him in the parking lot, he refused to stop and got into a blue Mazda sedan with a Pennsylvania registration and left the scene. Through investigation, Det. Barber was able to determine that Nemeth was the shoplifter. Nemeth was later charged with the shoplifting and has a future date at Mercer County Superior Court.

Arrested: Bernard White, Black male, 54 years old

DETAILS:  Patrol units were detailed to the Princeton Junction Train Station to locate a suspect who had been involved in previous shoplifting incidents at the Rite-Aid located at 41 Princeton-Hightstown Rd. A Rite-Aid employee recognized the shoplifter who then exited the store and rode a bicycle towards the train station. Det. Barber located the suspect who was later identified as Bernard White, after first identifying himself to officers as “William Thompson”. White was also found to have two warrants for his arrest from Hamilton, and one warrant from Trenton. White was charged with one of the shoplifting incidents from June 17, 2019 (Case #2019-15778). He was processed at WWPD Headquarters and turned over to the custody of Hamilton Police on their warrants.

DETAILS:  Ptl. Zicha investigated a shoplifting from Wegmans on the evening of August 27th where the following occurred: A Black female exited a blue Chevrolet Cavalier Z24, entered the store with a shopping cart and proceeded to load the cart with 48 bottles of laundry detergent valued at $445.79. She then pushed the cart out of the store and loaded the detergent into the car. A Black male with a thin build then got out of the same car, entered the store with a shopping cart and filled it with 43 bottles of liquor valued at $2,540.57. He then pushed the cart out of the store, loaded the car with all the liquor, and both suspects left the area.

DETAILS:  Ptl. Zicha checked on a pedestrian that was walking on U.S. Route 1 in the area of the Princeton Service Center. During the check, Jason Rue was found to have three different warrants for his arrest out of Plainsboro. Rue was processed at WWPD Headquarters and turned over to the custody of the Plainsboro Police Department.

DETAILS:  Ptl. Pollini investigated a single car crash where a white Ford SUV had driven off the roadway, and into a construction zone where it struck a storm drain and traffic control barrels. During the investigation, it was determined that the driver, Patricia White, was DWI. White was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date at West Windsor Municipal Court.

DETAILS:  Ptl. Zicha initiated a stop on a green Nissan sedan when it was determined through a random registration inquiry that the owner of the vehicle had a suspended license, and the driver matched the description of the registered owner. During the stop, Stephen Cirello was found to be in possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, THC oil cartridges, and a smoking pipe with marijuana residue. Cirello also had an arrest warrant out of Bordentown. Cirello was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending future Court dates in West Windsor and Bordentown.
