Today from 7 am to 7 pm, Solano Avenue will be closed from San Pablo Avenue to the The Alameda for the 45^th Annual Solano Avenue Stroll.
 
If you are travelling through the area you should expect traffic delays and plan an alternate route.
 
If you are travelling to the event, we recommend that you use public transportation.  There is a free shuttle to the event from the North Berkeley BART station and the El Cerrito Plaza BART station is within walking distance of the event (about 0.9 miles).
 
When traveling to the festival this year, here are few things we encourage you to consider while you are there:

• Stay aware of your surroundings and report suspicious activity.
• Choose a meeting spot for you and your friends in case anyone gets separated from the group (the best meeting spots are noticeable landmarks that most are aware of).
• If travelling with children, consider taking a quick photograph of what your child is wearing that you can share with others in the event that you become separated.
