Vehicle Break-ins and Thefts
Frankfort and surrounding areas continue to experience motor vehicle thefts and vehicle break-ins.  Please help prevent these from occurring by locking vehicles and NEVER leave keys or key fobs inside of your car.  In almost every theft in the area, the vehicles have been left unlocked with car keys/fob left inside.  Please make it part of your nighttime routine to check your vehicles and make sure they are locked and that overhead garage doors are closed.  As always if you see or hear anything suspicious, contact the Frankfort Police Department immediately.  It takes a partnership of working together to keep our community safe.
