Rosamond man arrested for sexual assault 
A Rosamond man is in police custody after an alleged moleststion that occurred in Cal City. Detectives arrested 39 year old Franklin Smith of Rosamond for several crimes including ongoing rape, child molestation and false imprisonment.
The victim is a 14 year-old girl and was an acquaintance.
Smith is being in Kern County jail in lieu of $100,000.00 bail.
