The Maple Shade Police Department is aware that residents in town have been receiving telephone solicitation for donations from a group calling itself "The Police Officer Association". This organization DOES NOT benefit or support the Maple Shade Police Department. The Maple Shade Police Department cannot even verify that a legitimate organization exists by that name.
The men and women Police Officers of the Maple Shade Police Department that proudly serve our community are represented by the Police Benevolent Association of New Jersey, Local 267. PBA Local 267 and the New Jersey State PBA NEVER solicits for donations by telephone, only by U.S. mail.
