Deputies arrest Arnisha Morris for possession of a stolen vehicle

INCIDENT: Possession of a Stolen Vehicle
LOCATION: Hwy 38 / Bryant Street, Yucaipa
SUSPECT(S): Arnisha Morris, 40-year-old transient
SUMMARY:
On September 5, 2019, at 6:51 p.m., deputies from the Yucaipa Sheriff's Station responded to a report of a stolen vehicle leaving the city of Highland. It was last seen near Greenspot Road and Florida Street, heading into the Mentone area.
Yucaipa deputies located and stopped the vehicle near Highway 38 and Bryant. The female driver, Arnisha Morris, and three other passengers were detained without incident. Open beer containers and drug paraphernalia were recovered from the vehicle. Morris was arrested on charges of possessing the stolen vehicle and an outstanding warrant.
One of the passengers, Esteban Osorio (38-year-old transient) was arrested and booked into the Central Detention Center for three misdemeanor warrants.
The other two passengers were released. Additional charges may be sought through the District Attorney’s Office.
