Thieves Burglarize Two Businesses, Get Away with Tip Jar 
On 9/6/19 at approximately 0150 AM, a witness called the Simi Valley Police Department to report that two subjects in "hoodies" had smashed the front windows to Subway and A1 Cleaners, located at 2466 Stearns St. Further investigation revealed that both businesses had been burglarized. It appears that the only property taken was the contents of a tip jar from Subway. One of the subjects entered the A1 Cleaners to find the owner on the premises. The suspect was chased out of the business. The suspects were last seen fleeing in a black Nissan sedan, e/b on SR 118.
