08/26/2019 @ 2024-0850. An unknown suspect removed $300 cash from a cash register and six pairs of tennis shoes from a display area. No sign of forced entry. #05752
Armed Robbery (Suspect Arrested)
8800 block Santa Monica Blvd
08/26/2019 @ 1325. A man removed a pair of shorts from a display rack and attempted to leave the store without payment. When confronted by an employee, the suspect produced a box cutter knife and threatened the victim. The suspect was allowed to leave and arrested by responding deputies. #05727

Rosewood Avenue / Orlando Avenue
08/26/2019 @ 2100. A man was walking WB on Rosewood Avenue when a vehicle pulled up near his location. The suspect exited the vehicle and pulled the victims cell phone from his grasp. The suspect returned the vehicle and fled the area. #05740
Strong Arm Robbery (Attempt)
500 block Kings Road
08/26/2019 @ 2130. A man was walking NB on Kings Road when a vehicle pulled up next to him. The suspect exited the vehicle and demanded the victim’s property. The victim ran from the area. No loss. #05750

8200 block Sunset Blvd
08/26/2019 @ 1100-1215. A woman smashed the front passenger’s side window and removed a purse from the front seat and got into a vehicle being driven by S2/MB. S2 has been arrested and is from San Francisco. #05732

08/26/2019 @ 1741-1820. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a backpack containing a laptop computer, IPad, and men’s bag from the back seat. #05737

08/27/2019 @ 0200. A man was walking SB on the sidewalk when three men surrounded him and demanded his property while one of the suspects held a handgun near his waistband. The victim complied and the suspects fled the area in a vehicle that was parked nearby. #05746

7100 block Santa Monica Blvd
08/27/2019 @ 0956. A man removed headphones and a PlayStation from a display area and left the store without payment. When confronted by store security, the suspect punched the victim in the chest and ran away. #05751

08/28/2019 @ 2215. An unknown suspect used a screwdriver and forced the sub parking garage door open to gain access and entered two unlocked vehicles and removed property. #05809

08/29/2019 @ 0310. A man was punched several times in the face by another man during a dispute outside the club. After the victim fell to the ground, the suspect removed his wallet and cell phone from his pocket and then fled the area. #05800

08/29/2019 @ 1230-1359. An unknown suspect smashed the rear windshield and removed a duffel bag containing clothing and two backpacks containing a camera and laptop computer from the trunk. #05808

08/30/2019 @ 1130-1245. An unknown suspect smashed the rear driver’s side window and removed a purse containing $500 cash, credit cards, and a social security card from the rear floorboard. #05831

08/31/2019 @ 1700-1030. An unknown suspect removed an electric bicycle from the front porch of the residence. #05881
September 1st
Aggravated Assault – Knife (Suspects Arrested)
1200 block Orange Grove Avenue
09/01/2019 @ 1600. Two men were involved in a fight while inside a residence. A knife was used during the assault, but it’s unclear which suspect used the knife. Both suspects were arrested. #05885
Grand Theft (Suspects Arrested)
8800 block Santa Monica Blvd
09/01/2019 @ 0210. A man and two women were arrested for stealing cell phones from customers. A witness saw the suspects steal approximately 10 cell phones and notified security. The suspects were detained by store security and arrested by responding deputies. #05873
