Hurricane Dorian Update.
Jasper County remains under a Hurricane Warning, Storm Surge Warning, and Flash Flood watch. Residents should continue to shelter in place as the storm continues to impact our area and will do so until this evening, September 5th. Falling Trees and flooding may make travel dangerous. At this time, there are no significant issues reported in Jasper County regarding damage or flooding.
Evacuation Orders for Zone A in Jasper County remain in effect. If sustained wind speeds of 39 mph are observed, Emergency Services will NOT respond to calls for service until winds drop below this threshold.
