INCIDENT: PC 29800(a)(1) - Felon in Possession of Firearm, PC 30305(a)(1) - Felon in Possession of Ammunition, PC 32310 - Possession of Large Capacity Magazine
LOCATION: 7400 Block of Elm St, Highland
SUSPECT(S): Deon Johnson, 21-year-old resident of San Bernardino
SUMMARY: Deputies from the Highland Sheriff's Station responded to the 7400 Block of Elm St in Highland for a fight involving numerous people. Witnesses reported seeing some of the people carrying firearms. When deputies arrived, Deon Johnson ran from them, but was apprehended a short distance away. Johnson was found to be in possession of a loaded firearm with a large capacity magazine. Johnson is currently on parole for a residential burglary conviction out of Los Angeles County. Johnson was arrested and booked at Central Detention Center on the above charges and parole violation.
