MEDIA ADVISORY- IMPD Officer Death
Indianapolis – It is with a heavy heart that IMPD announces the death of veteran IMPD Sergeant Charles Tice. After a brave battle with cancer, Sgt. Tice passed away on Monday, August 26, 2019.
“It is with great sadness that we lay to rest one of our own, Sgt. Charles Tice of the Criminal Interdiction Unit. Sgt. Tice was an impactful and motivated member of the IMPD family and he will be greatly missed. I extend my sincere condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time.” said Chief Bryan Roach.
Sergeant Charles Tice is a 16-year veteran of IMPD and is currently assigned to the Criminal Interdiction Unit where he was a valued and loyal member.
