The National Weather Service in Juneau has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 11 AM AKDT this morning.
* LOCATION...The central inner channels, to include the city of Angoon.
* VISIBILITY...Less than 1/2 mile
* TIMING...Until 11 AM Thursday
* IMPACTS...Travel will be hazardous
* AFFECTED AREAS: EASTERN BARANOF ISLAND AND SOUTHERN ADMIRALTY ISLAND

An advisory means that dense fog is already occurring or imminent. All travel should be done with extreme caution. This statement will be updated by 1100 AM AKST Thursday or sooner if conditions warrant.
