On August 29, 2019, at 4:19 a.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a report of a disturbance on Interstate 69 near the 22 mile marker. While enroute to the scene Gibson County Central Dispatch received additional calls that a female was running in the middle of the roadway on the interstate near this call. Upon arriving in the area Deputy Jennifer Robb located a 2017 Ford Escape. When Deputy Robb pulled in behind the vehicle a female who was later identified as 31 year old Kaylah Thompson of the Oakland City area exited the vehicle in a state of undress. At that point Deputy Robb placed her into custody and conducted a roadside investigation. At the conclusion of her investigation Deputy Robb transported Ms. Thompson to the Gibson County Jail where she was charged with Public Intoxication. She remains in custody on a $550 bond.
