Kenneth Cantrell arrested for being a sex registrant in possession of a controlled substance and a stun gun

INCIDENT: Sex Registrant in Possession of a Controlled Substance , Convicted Felon in Possession of a Stun Gun, Manufacturing Concentrated Cannabis

LOCATION: 22800 Block of Byron Road, Valley of Enchantment

SUSPECT(S): Kenneth Cantrell, 51-year-old resident of Valley of Enchantment
Virginia Rodriguez, 40-year-old resident of Valley of Enchantment

VICTIM(S): Confidential

SUMMARY: On Sunday, August 25, 2019, at approximately 8:30 AM, deputies from the Twin Peaks Sheriff's Multiple Enforcement Team (MET) served a Search Warrant in the 22800 Block of Byron Road, in the community of Valley of Enchantment. Deputies arrested the two residents at the location, Kenneth Cantrell and Virginia Rodriguez. During the search warrant, deputies recovered a substantial amount of crystal methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, a stun gun, and a small homemade lab used to produce concentrated cannabis. In addition, deputies discovered Cantrell is a registered Sex Offender under California Penal Code 290 and had been living at the residence for the last year.

Cantrell was arrested under felony charges for a PC 290 Sex Registrant in possession of a controlled substance, being under the influence of a controlled substance, and a felon in possession of stun gun. Rodriguez was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, being under the influence of a controlled substance, and manufacturing concentrated cannabis. Kenneth Cantrell and Virigina Rodriguez were booked at Central Detention Center where they will be held on a $50,000 bail.
