INCIDENT: PC 29800, Felon in Possession of a Firearm and HS 11378, Possession of Methamphetamine for sales and violation of Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS)
LOCATION: 1970 Clary Drive, Needles
SUSPECT: Bruce Martin, age 42 a resident of Needles
SUMMARY:
On August 26, 2019, at 10:30 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department conducted a probation (PRCS) compliance check of Bruce Martin who resides in the 1900 block of Clary Dr. in the city of Needles. At the time, Martin was on felony probation for possession of a firearm by a felon.
Upon entry into Martin's residence, deputies immediately located a loaded firearm. Deputies continued the probation search and located 1.16 lbs of suspected methamphetamine. Additional drug paraphernalia and other items consistent with drug sales were also located.
Martin was arrested and booked into the Needles jail for felon in possession of a firearm, possession of methamphetamine for distribution and violation of Post Release Community Supervision.
Martin is being held without bail.
