Red Flag Warning until 11:00AM Wednesday
The National Weather Service in Portland has issued a Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from 11 AM Tuesday to 11 AM PDT Wednesday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
* Affected Area...In Oregon...Fire Weather Zone 602 North Oregon Coast Range and Fire Weather Zone 605 North Oregon Cascade Foothills.
* Winds...Northeast 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph, except East 15 to 20 mph with gusts to 35 mph near the Columbia Gorge.
* Relative Humidity...12 to 20 percent Tuesday afternoon through early evening. Humidity recovery Tuesday night at or below 35 percent mid and upper slopes and ridges.
* Impacts...Conditions may be favorable for rapid fire spread which may threaten life and property. Use extra caution with potential ignition sources, especially in grassy areas. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
* AFFECTED AREAS: NORTH OREGON COAST RANGE ... NORTH OREGON CASCADE FOOTHILLS
