NC DOT Road closures 
The North Carolina Department of Transportation contractors plan to close an Interstate 85 onramp in Davidson County Tuesday for overnight construction.
Contract crews will close the ramp from N.C. Highway 109/Randolph Street to I-85 South at 8 p.m. while they perform preservation work on a bridge over the CSX railroad. Construction is expected to be complete by 6 a.m. Wednesday.
During this time, traffic will be rerouted to follow I-85 North, Finch Farm Road to return to I-85 South.
Motorists should be advised to use caution while traveling through the area and plan for slight delays.
