Stop N Go Robbery 
On 08-24-19 at 10:24 p.m. officers from the Janesville Police Department were dispatched to the Stop-N-go at 1604 E. Racine for a report of an armed robbery. Prior to officer arrival the suspect fled on foot.
The Stop-N-Go employee reported an unknown black male wearing a black jacket, gray winter hat and a face mask entered the store and demanded all of the money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency and 2 packs of Newport cigarettes prior to leaving the store. The male never displayed a firearm, but the employee believed, based on the male's actions, that the suspect had a gun in his jacket pocket.
The subject was not located and has yet to be identified. Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact the Janesville Police Department.
