This morning at 8:02 A.M. officers were dispatched to the area of N. Crosby Av. and Harvard Dr. for the report of an erratic driver. The suspect vehicle was driving up onto curbs, struck a street sign and a mail box. Officers located the suspect vehicle and made contact with the driver, Daniel J. Knopes. After investigation, Knopes was arrested for O.W.I. Knopes had a revoked driving status for O.W.I. and seven prior convictions for O.W.I. He was taken to RCSO jail and submitted to an evidentiary blood draw. He was held at the jail for this incident and a probation hold.
