The River Edge Police Department has established a wellness check protocol for residents reliant on life support systems, i.e. oxygen, respirators, ventilators, etc.. The wellness check will be initiated during power outages.
In order for the wellness check to be viable, residents dependent upon life support systems must be identified. If you have a family member, friend, or neighbor who fits the above category, PLEASE ENCOURAGE THEM TO CONTACT Sgt. Abate for inclusion on the resident list.
