MEDIA ADVISORY/NEWS RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

On Thursday August 22, 2019 at 5:24PM the Emeryville Police dispatch center began receiving calls of gunshots in the 1500 block of Park Ave. Officers arrived in the area within two minutes of being dispatched. Witnesses reported seeing a subject in a speeding vehicle shooting at another vehicle. Both vehicles fled the area and were not located. Officers checked the area and this appeared to be an isolated incident. There are no reports of injuries or property damage at this time. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Emeryville Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Section at (510) 596-3700.
