Deputies are seeking information regarding the whereabouts of burglary suspect, Leah Aeschliman

INCIDENT: Burglary/Possession of Stolen Property/Possession of Personal Identifying Information
LOCATION: 8700 block of Sage Avenue, Yucca Valley
SUSPECT(S): Leah Aeschliman, 44-years-old, transient
Michael McElroy, 35-years-old, resident of Yucca Valley
SUMMARY:
On Thursday, August 15, 2019, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s, Morongo Basin station, responded to the 8700 block of Sage Avenue for a report of a burglary. The victim left her residence in the care of a friend during the month of July. Leah Aeschliman helped to clean the incident location during that time. After the victim returned, she discovered several items missing from her residence. Deputies discovered Aeschliman pawned some of the stolen jewelry at a local pawn shop.
Detectives served a search warrant at Aeschliman’s last known residence and located additional stolen property. Deputies also discovered Michael McElroy in possession of over 100 pieces of personal mail and personal identifying information. McElroy was arrested and booked at the Morongo basin Jail for possession of personal identifying information. He is being held on $50,000 bail.
Detectives believe Aeschliman is staying in the area and her photo is being released.
