Incident: Driver Arrested for Felony Hit and Run

Suspect(s): Lindsay Williams, 32-year-old, Santa Rosa resident
On the above date and time, Petaluma Police Department officers were dispatched to a traffic collision involving two vehicles on E. Washington Street. Officers arrived on scene and were told a vehicle had fled the scene. Officers determined that Suspect Williams was exiting the Chevron gas station onto E. Washington Street and struck the victim’s vehicle which was traveling eastbound on E. Washington Street. A juvenile passenger in the victim’s vehicle was transported to Petaluma Valley Hospital for minor injuries. The juvenile was later released after treatment.
Officers searching the area of the collision found William’s damaged vehicle traveling northbound on Sonoma Mountain Parkway. William’s vehicle had sustained major front-end damage. Officers stopped Williams and she was taken into custody without incident. A record check revealed William’s was on active probation for DUI and her drivers’ license was suspended. Alcohol and narcotics do not appear to be a factor in the collision

On the above date and time, Petaluma Police Department officers were dispatched to a traffic collision involving two vehicles on E. Washington Street. Officers arrived on scene and were told a vehicle had fled the scene. Officers determined that Suspect Williams was exiting the Chevron gas station onto E.
