* At 308 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles south of
Marion, and is nearly stationary.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
damage to trees and power lines.
* Locations impacted include...
Marion, Old Fort, Shingle Hollow, Green Hill, Sugar Hill, Thermal
City, Glenwood, Fero, Union Mills and Pleasant Gardens.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Scattered trees and power lines will be blown down in the warned
area. Seek shelter inside an interior room.
