The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Southern Madison County in central Indiana... Hancock County in central Indiana... Northern Morgan County in central Indiana... Northwestern Johnson County in central Indiana... Hendricks County in central Indiana... Southeastern Parke County in west central Indiana... Marion County in central Indiana... Southeastern Boone County in central Indiana... Hamilton County in central Indiana... Putnam County in west central Indiana...

* Until 815 PM EDT.

* At 722 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 miles northwest of Noblesville to Speedway to 9 miles east of Brazil, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Indianapolis, Anderson, Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Greenwood, Lawrence, Plainfield, Brownsburg, Greenfield, Beech Grove, Zionsville, Speedway, Greencastle, Mooresville, Danville, Southport, Westfield, Avon and Cumberland. Those attending outdoor events in the Indianapolis metro area are in the path of these storms and should prepare for DANGEROUS WEATHER CONDITIONS. SEEK SHELTER NOW! This includes the following highways... Interstate 65 between mile markers 100 and 132. Interstate 69 between mile markers 200 and 228. Interstate 70 between mile markers 34 and 107. Interstate 74 between mile markers 62 and 100.
