INCIDENT: Death Investigation
LOCATION: Dry Lake Bed, near the area of Sunway Road and Rosehedge Avenue, Joshua Tree, CA
VICTIM(S): Unidentified Male
SUMMARY: On August 16, 2019, at 8:49 a.m.. a caller reported discovering a burned body in the dry lake bed near Sunway Road and Rosehedge Avenue. Deputies from the Morongo Basin Station responded and confirmed the information. Based on evidence at the scene, detectives from the Sheriff’s Department Homicide Division responded and assumed the investigation. Detectives are working to identify the male victim as well as any witnesses.
