911 call leads to arrest of Owensville man on battery charge. *Update*
On August 15, 2019, at 8:04 p.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a 911 report of a battery that had occurred in the 5000 block of West County Road 600 South. Upon arriving at the scene Deputy Jennifer Loesch began an investigation into the incident. At the conclusion of her investigation she placed 30 year old Kieffer Minnis of Owensville into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Gibson County Jail Mr. Minnis was charged with battery, battery in the presence of a child, and criminal confinement. He remains in custody on a $5000 bond.
Assisting Deputy Loesch in her investigation was Owensville Officer Jason Wright.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
