Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that killed a motorcyclist in Dix Hills on Friday evening.

Andrew Parisi was operating a 2018 Yamaha westbound on Express Drive North east of Exit 51 when his motorcycle collided with a 2007 Honda motorcycle operated by Nikolas Manitaras at approximately 6:35 p.m. Parisi lost control of the Yamaha and crashed into the wooded area nearby.   
 
Parisi, 20, of 4 Norma Lane, Farmingdale, was taken via North Shore University Medical Center Ambulance to Huntington Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Manitaras, 20, of North Massapequa was not injured.
 
The motorcycles were impounded for safety checks. Anyone with information about this crash is asked to call the Second Squad at 631-854-8252.
