Drive Carefully, School is Opening 
Starting tomorrow, September 4th, most schools in our area, including Carlstadt Public School and Becton Regional High School will open their doors for the 2019 – 2020 school year. This means there will be added pedestrian traffic in the mornings and mid-afternoon as children will be on their way to and from school. Drivers are reminded to slow down and be mindful of the added pedestrian traffic. And please remember the following:
- Drives must yield to pedestrians crossing the street at an intersection
- Drivers must follow the directions of Crossing Gards
- If a school bus has its red lights flashing, you must stop and wait for the lights to go out before you pass
