Community invited to Jefferson Park meeting, Coffee with a Cop | City Hall closed on Saturday

Residents invited to Jefferson Park community meeting
Mayor Ravi S. Bhalla and the City of Hoboken will host a community meeting to present proposals to renovate Jefferson Park in Southwest Hoboken. The proposals include new playground equipment and a new layout to maximize park space. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, August 21 at 7:00 pm at Jefferson Park (123 Jefferson Street).
“In addition to acquiring new open space, upgrading our existing parks is an important priority,” said Mayor Bhalla. “I invite residents to come out and provide input as we renovate Jefferson Street Park. Thank you to members of the Boys and Girls Club and HoLa for working with my administration on this important quality of life project.”
Coffee with a Cop
Police Chief Ken Ferrante and the Hoboken Police Department invite the community to “Coffee with a Cop” on Monday, August 19 from 8:00 am until 9:30 am in the Fox Hill Gardens community room (311 13th Street). Coffee with a Cop brings police officers and the community members they serve together – over coffee – to discuss issues, learn more about each other, and strengthen community ties.
Residents are invited to discuss any law enforcement or policing issues at the local, regional or national level in an informal setting. The Hoboken Police Department will provide coffee and pastries.
