INCIDENT: Robbery/Retail Theft Arrest
LOCATION: 14700 block of Eucalyptus Street, Hesperia
SUSPECT: Kendale Rafael Hicks, 28 years old, resident of Barstow
SUMMARY:
On August 13, 2019, at approximately 6:32 a.m., Deputy Espiritu observed a known suspect vehicle, a white Kia Optima with no plates and missing the gas cover, in the area of Eucalyptus Street and Oakwood Avenue. Deputy Espiritu recognized the occupant of the vehicle as Kendale Rafael Hicks.
Hicks’ was involved in multiple energy drink thefts from various locations in the Cities of Victorville, Hesperia and Barstow. The crime span dates back to as early as 2017. Hicks was wanted on three active felony warrants for his arrest stemming from several thefts. Hicks was arrested and booked into High Desert Detention Center for Robbery and Retail Theft. He is expected to be arraigned on August 15, 2019 in Victorville Superior Court.
