Heat Advisory Wednesday & Thursday 
The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory extending from 11am Wednesday August 14 - 8pm Thursday August 15. Temperatures in the San Ramon Valley are expected to exceed 100 degrees.
Residents are warned to limit strenuous outdoor activity during the heat of the day, and stay hydrated.
Be mindful of neighbors who may be affected by excessive heat and check on them when possible.
If you do not have air conditioning, try to avoid the heat in air conditioned areas when possible. Some examples are the Danville Library, shopping malls, and movie theatres.
