At 4:20am, dispatch received a call that a vehicle crashed into the front of the house at 3 Shelley Rd. Upon arrival, officers discovered a fully loaded dump truck in the structure with the driver heavily entrapped. The driver was trapped for 40 minutes and had to be extricated by Kendall Park Fire Department with assistance from George’s Towing. Kendall Park EMS transported the driver to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital with serious injuries.
Three people were inside the residence at the time of the crash. None of them were injured. The house has been deemed uninhabitable. South Brunswick Police Department’s Traffic Bureau was called out early this morning and is investigating the crash.
