* At 408 AM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles southwest of Ute Lake State Park, or 12 miles northeast of Tucumcari, moving southeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of central Quay County. This includes Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 341 and 352, and U.S. Highway 54 from Tucumcari to Logan.
* AFFECTED AREAS: QUAY, NM
