Mayor Anthony Copeland and the East Chicago Public Works Department introduce the Annual District “Fall Clean-Up” program that will begin Monday, August 19th thru Thursday September 20th, 2019.

The District clean-up will be between the hours of 7:00 am until 3:00 pm on the dates listed below:

2019 DISTRICT “FALL CLEAN –UP” SCHEDULE

DISTRICT 2:    August 19th thru August 22nd

DISTRICT 6:    August 23rd thru August 28th

DISTRICT 1:    August 29th thru September 4th

DISTRICT 3:    September 5th thru September 10th

DISTRICT 4:    September 11th thru September 16th

DISTRICT 5:    September 17th thru September 20th

Place large items in the alley, or curbside where alleys do not exist.

We ask that you secure all items that may be blown away by the wind.

All yard-waste materials should be properly bagged and placed at the curb.

All abandoned vehicles, expired plates and parked vehicles where “No Parking” signs are placed will be towed at owner’s expense.
