Traffic stop leads to the arrest of two. 
On August 12, 2019, at 12:52 a.m. Deputy Loren Barchett conducted a traffic stop on a Black 2011 Hyundai Sonata for having an improper headlight on Broadway near Ninth Street in Princeton. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Barchett and Deputy Bryce Jutzi detected the odor of burnt Marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. At that point a roadside investigation was conducted and at the end of the investigation two passengers in the vehicle were taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the jail 19 year old Audrie Powers of Princeton was charged with Possession of Paraphernalia and Possession of Marijuana, and Olivia Walker age 18 of Princeton was charged with Possession of Marijuana. Both remain in custody with a bond of $550 each.
Assisting the deputies in their investigation were Princeton Officers Dan Goedde and Chelsea Jones.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
