Road closures, parking restrictions and important information - Det April Bird Funeral 
Detective April Bird's funeral services will be held tomorrow August 12, 2019 at the Paramount Theater. Due to this service, Ocean Ave between Fourth Ave and Sunset Ave will be closed from 8am until 3pm approximately. Fifth Ave between Kingsley St and Ocean Ave will also be closed. There will be NO PARKING permitted on these sections of road between 7am and 3pm. At approximately 2pm, the section of boardwalk between Convention Hall and McLoones will be closed for a brief moment as a 21 gun salute is performed. People on the beach in the immediate area will also be notified by officers prior to the discharge. Thank you for your anticipated cooperation
