On August 9, 2019, at 5:32 p.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a report of a battery that had already occurred in the 8000 block of South Meadow Lane in the rural Owensville area. Upon arriving in the area Deputy Jennifer Loesch with the assistance of Captain Bryan Ellis began an investigation into the incident. At the conclusion of her investigation Deputy Loesch placed 25 year old Collen Schenk of rural Owensville into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the jail Mr. Schenk was charged with a Felony county of Battery. He has since posted a $750 bond.

All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
