Child Abuse Investigators Need Other Victims To Come Forward.

Investigators with the Child Abuse Unit have charged 59-year-old Conrad Estrada Valdez (07/04/60), with sexual assault of a child, and investigators are now seeking other victims Valdez may have assaulted here in Harris County.

The female complainant, who is now 30-years of age, disclosed when she was 15 years old she was sexually abused by her pastor/mentor Valdez.

The complainant stated she began visiting the pastor for counseling after a experiencing a previous sexual assault.

The female stated at this time, the pastor began inappropriately touching her which later progressed to sexual intercourse.

Valdez was a longtime family friend and attended their church (The Restoration Outreach Christian Church) in Harris County, TX for several years.

The complainant stated she did not disclose sooner due to Valdez threatening to expose the affair to her family if she decided to end the sexual relationship.

The victim came forward after observing a documentary on survivors of sexual abuse.
