San Mateo, we're celebrating America's Night Out Against Crime with a FREE public event at the Martin Luther King Center (725 Monte Diablo Ave.) tomorrow evening (8/6) at 5:30pm! To celebrate National Night Out and our police-community partnership, we will have resources, raffles, music, games, food, and fun! This is a great way to participate and show your community support. No RSVP is necessary. Just show up at King and prepare to have a great time! 

There'll be a bunch of resources and activities. We've got Rebuilding Together, NAACP, San Mateo Police Activities League, Office Depot, Target, 7-Eleven, and a variety of City of San Mateo departments on-hand to name a few. There will be slime and other games & activities for the kids, and you can check out our SWAT vehicle. Public Works will be BBQing and there will be some cool raffle prizes like Target gift cards and a boys & girls bike. Both our Mobile Rec van and Library on wheels will be there too!

So much will be going on, but more than anything, we want our San Mateo community to show up and let criminals know that San Mateo is not the place to commit a crime. We are stronger together and we will Say Something, if we See Something!
