Flash Flood Warning until 07:15PM

The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Central Davidson County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 615 PM CDT.

* At 313 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Nashville, Forest Hills, Oak Hill, Belle Meade, Lakewood, Hermitage and Berry Hill. This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 between mile markers 205 and 219. Interstate 65 between mile markers 77 and 91. Interstate 24 between mile markers 43 and 57.

* AFFECTED AREAS: DAVIDSON, TN

Instructions:

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
