6/15 – 1:25 a.m. – Police were called to a residence on Pine Street, for a disturbance/violation of an order of protection. The male suspect was no longer on scene. After completing victim, suspect and witness interviews the report was forwarded to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office for review. On Monday, July 29th the state’s attorney’s office charged the suspect, Kevin L. Kraft age 44 of Belleville, with two counts of Violation of an Order of Protection. The following Thursday, with the assistance of a St. Clair County Sheriff’s Deputy, a Millstadt Officer took the suspect into custody in unincorporated Belleville. The suspect was arraigned before a judge and released on his own recognizance.
