On August 2, 2019, at 10:54 p.m. Deputy U.B. Smith conducted a traffic stop on a Red 2010 Dodge Ram for failing to yield to traffic on West Street in Haubstadt. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Smith detected the odor of alcohol coming from the driver 49 year old Gary Moskos of Haubstadt. At that point Deputy Smith began a roadside DUI investigation that resulted in Mr. Moskos being taken into custody and then transported to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Gibson County Jail Mr. Moskos was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated. He has since posted a $650 bond.

All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
