Arroyo Grande Police Department makes arrest on stabbing suspect. 
On Saturday, August 3rd, 2019, the Arroyo Grande Police Department took 36 year old Matthew Leroy Ehens into custody for attempted murder. Earlier, the Arroyo Grande Police investigated a stabbing in the 600 block of Lancaster Drive. Ehens was located by the Arroyo Grande Police Department where a pursuit ensued. With the assistance of the San Luis Obispo Sheriff's Office, Ehens was taken into custody following a traffic collision in rural Arroyo Grande. Ehens was booked on attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, and elder abuse.
