The National Weather Service in Charleston West Virginia has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Northeastern Randolph County in northeastern West Virginia...

* Until 400 PM EDT.

* At 314 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Elkins, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Elkins, Beverly, Bowden, Kerens and Dryfork. This includes Route 33 between mile markers 32 and 35.



For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding.
